Envision 4
At Envision High, we empathize with every child’s dream for the future. We acknowledge the key role a school can play – from playschool to high school in a unique way to make those dreams come true
1. Positive pedagogy
2. Progressive curriculum
3. Nurturing values
4. Enabling infrastructure

Positive pedagogy
A meaningful, well-orchestrated approach to pedagogy influences children’s outcomes, spreads the joy of learning, removes inequality, and allows every child to pick up their pace and choice of the learning curve. In our philosophy, it is more than just a term. It is a harmonious blend of the teacher, the student and the culture around that fosters a unique environment of learning, questioning, solving, empathizing, and succeeding. We call it positive pedagogy.
Qualified and experienced teachers
- Better organized teachers. They are well prepared, have the resources in place, and can manage a class with a sound pace and interactivity between the student and the lessons, and the student and the teacher
- Good teachers make the child understand easier and smarter. They work on the concept of shared objectives – how much the child is picking up, is the lesson being delivered in an effective manner, etc
Concept driven teaching
- A revisiting of the concept of homework. That which is reflective of the child’s needs, capabilities and is flexible. This way the need to be disciplined is not something of force from the outside but a felt need from within
- The importance of personalized teaching and learning. This can only happen when the teachers are sensitive to individual needs and provide learning that is rich, varied and helps the student figure concepts out rather than forcing them to learn things by rote
- Unravelling the links in the world of the child is more an area of empathy and possibly a skill set that needs to be imparted, honed, and used at every learning stage
- Learning the logic, math, science and the joy of life requires a unique approach to learning
- Lastly assessment is evaluative feedback and helps the student develop and not be judged. Here is where there is a strong interaction loop between the teacher, pupil, and the parent
Extra curricular activities
- We seek to imbibe attributes that will help them be leaders in the world outside through extra-curricular activities. Activities that allow our children to explore their areas of interest and build competence over time. They will have the flexibility to explore more than one activity that suits their emerging ethos
- Theatre and stage activities to explore creative skills and encourage overcoming stage fright
- Painting, music, and dance to imbibe a natural rhythm with elements around them and learn concentration
- Outdoor activities like age-based field trips, treks, and rock-climbing among others to build stamina and inculcate fearlessness
